Stoecklin announces upgraded MASTer Stacker Crane Series
New features improve performance, safety, maintenance, standardization, and energy efficiency while lowering the total cost of ownership Stoecklin Logistics, a supplier of innovative supply chain solutions, is introducing a line of dynamic MASTer™ Stacker Cranes that feature high acceleration and moving speeds, improved energy efficiency, and modular construction that delivers vastly improved performance and high levels of availability. The new cranes also have simpler and faster wheels and hoists, greater standardization across different cranes and load-carrying capacities, shorter assembly and manufacturing times, lighter construction, and improved accessibility to components for maintenance. “We have taken all of our learnings from the past few decades and applied them to the new MASTer Stacker Cranes to improve the design and production so our customers see dramatically enhanced performance at a lower cost. These cranes move products and material better, safer, and smarter, plus they are easier to maintain and fix when necessary. Bottom line is that it’s a more cost-competitive crane,” said Klaus Jäger, Product Manager at Stoecklin. The MASTer Stacker Cranes are available in models, ranging from about 16 to 137 feet. They can move two pallets at the same time into single, double, and multi deep slots. The new design also improves safety by deploying a brake that increases the usable cube of the warehouse as compared to the hydraulic buffer used in most systems. The new stacker cranes are suitable for material handling applications in all business sectors, particularly in consumer products, automotive, cold storage, and pharmaceuticals.

Hy-Brid Lifts introduces LeakGuard™ System for surface protection
Hy-Brid Lifts, a manufacturer of high-quality, low-level access equipment, introduces their trademarked LeakGuard™ integrated system for surface protection, providing 110% hydraulic fluid containment. LeakGuard presents users with an alternative to inconvenient and messy containment methods, including commonly used diapers. The innovative technology allows contractors to access more jobs with strict environmental and spillage regulations that require a leak prevention system. The single-tray system offers a more convenient option than competitive models’ three or four tray designs. Hy-Brid Lifts will highlight LeakGuard and their new series of lifts at the ARA Show, booth 4050 in Orlando, Florida, February 10-12. Hy-Brid Lifts are electrically driven and steered which means only elevation uses hydraulics. This reduces the number of hydraulic connection points, which greatly minimizes the risk of any hydraulic leakage. While spills or leaks are highly unlikely, LeakGuard will give users peace of mind knowing their flooring is completely protected from hydraulic fluid spillage. Alternative methods like diapers require extra steps of being cut to size and attached to the lift, reducing productivity. Diapers are also prone to ripping when the lift’s pothole bars are deployed. Once ripped, the diaper needs to be replaced to keep the surfaces protected from leaks. The LeakGuard system offers a much simpler solution to achieve the same result. “Our customers were asking for a way to more effectively prevent potential hydraulic fluid damage to surfaces, so we made it happen,” said Terry Dolan, Hy-Brid Lifts president & CEO. “The integrated system features an intuitive, single-tray design, making things even easier for operators. LeakGuard will open doors to more opportunities by allowing contractors to get on highly regulated job sites they may not have previously had access to.” The system consists of a stainless-steel tray and disposable pads. The tray sits under the hydraulic pump in the base of the lift and extends under the scissor stack. The tray can be accessed by opening the cover on the pump side. The system is easy to check for leaks, and in the unlikely event of a leak, the pad change out process is simple and doesn’t take much time. Unlike competitive models that require three or four trays to be emptied, the LeakGuard system contains all fluid in one place, which saves time and prevents messy spills. Additionally, if the lift cylinder leaks, the hydraulic fluid will drip onto a tapered cover under the scissors which captures the oil. All Pro Series lifts are manufactured LeakGuard ready, including the all-new 19-foot PS-1930. To make the lift LeakGuard equipped, the pan and pads can be purchased with the lift or added in the future without the need for modifications. Hy-Brid Lifts will also offer packs of replacement pads for customers to purchase in the future.
Raymond donates more than $15,000 to Breast Cancer Foundations through Pink Pallet Jack Project
Proceeds from sixth annual auction will aid breast cancer patients Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation (RHCC), Raymond Handling Solutions (RHSI) and Handling Systems, each a Raymond Sales and Service Center, raised a total of $15,370 for breast cancer awareness during the sixth annual Pink Pallet Jack Project online auction. Three Raymond 8210 powered pallet jacks were auctioned off on eBay® between Oct. 17-23 with all the proceeds split evenly between the New York-based Tina Fund and the California-based HERS Breast Cancer Foundation and Breast Cancer Angels. Winning bids were accepted from transportation companies J&K Trucking and Prism Logistics and forklift battery supplier Motive Energy with their donations going on to assist patients recovering from breast cancer treatments, both physically and financially. “We have worked with Raymond as a vendor for many years,” said Jere Van Puffelen, owner and president, Prism Logistics. “When they started this fundraiser, we were impressed with their commitment to this important effort. They make great equipment, and it was for a great cause, so a perfect combination. We really like the visible reminder the pink jacks provide for our employees and visitors, of the focus that we all should maintain until we beat this disease.” The Raymond® 8210 powered pallet jack offers greater maneuverability to navigate in tight spaces, making it the ideal lift truck for congested store aisles, busy docks and pinwheeling in the back of trailers. The trucks also featured Raymond’s exclusive Click2Creep™ design, which automatically reduces maximum travel speed, providing a tighter turn radius for pinwheeling or right-angle turning. “We would like to thank our customers for the overwhelming support behind the Pink Pallet Jack auctions,” said James Wilcox, president of Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, Raymond Handling Solutions and Handling Systems. “Over the past six years, this program has raised more than $150,000 for those who have been touched by this disease. Breast cancer is a disease that has no boundaries and does not discriminate, touching the lives of so many families. We are grateful for the support we receive in giving to this cause.”
